A whole week of feeling good. Before chemo I would call it “just normal” but now it’s amazing, wonderful and filling me with gratitude.
This is how life should be all the time, appreciating all those small and regular things. Even the so called boring ones like having enough energy to clean my house.
So this week was filled with long dog walks, errands, new curtains, a dog crate for my still a little crazy Winston, painting a drawer, talking to my former colleagues in NY, my daily messaging with L when she’s on her way to work (also in NY), finding out that S (who’s in Barcelona) is coming to visit next weekend, Jamaican food from a food truck, L accompanying me to the doctor, make up workshop, healing/chiro treatment, rebooking my NY-ticket for September, talking to G, the movies (Bohemian Rhapsody) and visiting V (here for week from India) at her pop up event.
Most regular, some extra special and all happy making.
Next chemo is on Tuesday and we’ve decided to change the schedule to once a week with a different mix which is supposed to make it a bit easier on your body.
Looking forward might not be how I would describe my feelings but at least I’m a bit more relaxed and so much less worried.
Even the sun was out a bit in between rain, rain, rain.
