Thursday and the swelling and redness from the cortison to combat nausea has gone down. This time I had more of a reaction but it seems to have gone down quicker.
Looking like I did yesterday, hard to hide, I didn’t feel like leaving the house, more than I had to.
Also tired but today so far, feeling ok.
Last week i did take selfies but too chicken to post.
Yes I know, i don’t have to post but it’s kind of part of this journey for me, to be open and honest, to show me and my life the way it really is (as opposed to all the “perfectness” that, I think, is creating an image of people’s worlds that has nothing to do with reality).
Anyway, I will add my “gang”-look, which came, both from wanting to hide but also to trying to protect my face from the sun.
The beanie is already too hot sometimes and I also don’t like the look of it, at all, anymore.
Wig…maybe, but afraid it’ll be too hot and also itchy as my hair has started to grow out?
On a good note, I had a visit form New York, via Lugano, from a dear, dear friend last weekend and discovered that I had enough energy to roam around all day, showing her Stockholm, such a great city in more ways than one.
My blood pressure has gone up. Is it from the treatment or from the stress of it all? We’re monitoring and I’ve started drinking beet juice that’s supposed to help. Also trying to meditate a bit more which we know is good for pretty much everything.
Today I mixed it in my smoothie but, yikes, too sweet!
